1. Information We Handle

Depending on the features you use, information handled by the App or its service providers may include:

• Game and preference data: case progress, grades, endings, streaks, career statistics, relationships, achievements, settings, and local purchase entitlements.
• Platform game-service information: player identifiers, display names, scores, leaderboard results, and achievement progress if you use Apple Game Center or Google Play Games.
• Purchase information: product, purchase, and transaction details supplied by Apple or Google to deliver or restore an entitlement. We do not receive your full payment card number through the App.
• Advertising and consent information: Google AdMob and its consent tools may process app and device details, advertising identifiers where available, IP address, approximate location, ad requests and interactions, and your consent choices.
• Support information: information you choose to include if you contact us, such as your email address and a description of an issue.

The App does not ask you to submit your contacts, photos, precise location, or message content to play.

2. How Information Is Used

Information is used as needed to provide and support the App, including to:

• save your game progress and preferences on your device;
• provide optional leaderboards and achievements through Apple Game Center or Google Play Games;
• process, deliver, and restore in-app purchases;
• request and display ads, including ads you choose to watch for an in-game reward;
• manage advertising consent and ad frequency limits; and
• respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses services operated by other companies. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies and terms:

• Apple: Game Center and the App Store for optional achievements, leaderboards, and purchases. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
• Google: Google Play Games and Google Play for optional achievements, leaderboards, purchases, and billing. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: advertising and related consent services. See Google’s advertising privacy information.

You can review platform account and device settings through Apple or Google.

4. Storage and Security

Game progress, preferences, purchase entitlements, and some consent and ad-frequency state are stored locally on your device. If you choose to use Game Center or Google Play Games, those services may process the scores and achievements submitted by the App.

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

5. Data Retention

Local game data remains on your device until you reset it, clear the App’s storage, or remove the App. Apple or Google retain platform scores, achievements, and purchase records according to their policies and account settings. Resetting a career in the App does not erase scores or achievements already accepted by those services.

6. Advertising and Choices

The App uses Google AdMob for banner ads and optional rewarded or interstitial ads. Google’s consent tools may show a consent prompt where required. Rewarded and interstitial ad requests are configured to request non-personalized ads. AdMob may still process device, app, and ad-delivery information as described above.

You can manage available advertising privacy choices from the App’s Settings. Some choices depend on your region, device, and the controls Google makes available. Rewarded ads are optional; an ad may be unavailable if it cannot be requested or shown.

7. Tracking Permission

Federal Files: Detective does not request App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS. The App does not show Apple’s tracking authorization prompt.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the request.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data we control. To make a request, email us at support@404gameslimited.com. For information held by Apple or Google, use the account and privacy controls provided by those services.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share or permit access to information as reasonably needed to provide App features through Apple, Google, and their service providers, or when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

11. International Processing

Apple, Google, and their service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those providers apply their own safeguards and policies to that processing.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App, our services, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when this version was published. Your continued use of the App after an update means the updated policy applies to the extent permitted by law.
